Dr. Amelia Pare is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon in Southwestern Pennsylvania. With a target audience consisting of both younger and aging patients (35-65+), evaluating for usability and redesigning her website during the Covid-19 pandemic proved to be an interesting challenge. With the rise and demand for telemedicine during an extended quarantine period, creating a great user experience for target users of all ages and computer literacy levels was more important than ever.
Starting with a high frequency high priority matrix and ending with moderated user testing, a wide range of usability tests were conducted and results helped influence the final features of the redesign.
