The Extended Reality Initiative (XRi) at Kent State is focused on developing immersive educational experiences in the realm of extended reality. The initiative was recently awarded funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to design and study immersive 360° video experiences incorporating single and multi-perspective video to facilitate teacher education of future elementary mathematics teachers. Materials from this funded project and related initiatives will be shared on the XRi website as they become available.
Built using Wordpress, the XRi website is fully responsive and adapts easily from desktop screen sizes down to mobile. Highlighted features include a video collection page with sort and filter capabilities, a page for 360° video-related tutorials, and a products page for easy access to publications, presentations, and press disseminating information from the project.

In addition to the newly redesigned website, a HTML Email template was also developed. Below shows an example of the template used to promote registration for online summer workshops for teachers/educators interested in 360° video.
